"I had thought about taking a yoga teacher training for several years, but only took the plunge when I found out Kate and Claudia were doing a teacher training together in 2011. If you have the chance to learn from these two, don't hesitate! They made the teacher training such a profound experience. Claudia and Kate make a wonderful team together. They each bring their unique styles and personalities to the training. They have a deep knowledge of yoga, combined decades of experience as teachers and a true love and passion for yoga that is inspiring and infectious. They made my teacher training so fun, I was sad when it was over. However, with the solid foundation I got from Kate and Claudia's training, I was able to land a teaching job almost immediately. They rock!"

"This training turned out to be more than just learning about asana's and building flexibility, but more about self growth and self discovery on a personal level. This was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I'm so fortunate to learn from both Kate and Claudia. Mindful and charismatic, Kate and Claudia will expose you to the spiritual practice of yoga to help you respond to daily life challenges."
Jennifer Nguyen | 2011 Teacher Trainee
"Teacher training with Kate & Claudia...how to keep this concise??? I can't express enough positivity and gratitude over my experience. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will definitely make breakthroughs in your practice. And then you will fall in love with yoga even more. It was such a profound experience that there was a sense of depression after the course was over — I missed the hours spent with the other trainees and our inspiring gurus. They fostered this amazing, nurturing environment that never took itself too seriously; egos were shed and the time flew by. Everyone encouraged each other's desire to learn more about yoga, and we all surprised ourselves at how much anatomy and Sanskrit knowledge we went home with. Claudia and Kate attract the type of students that love the practice and want the tools to share their passion. With their knowledge and experience they individually help each student cultivate a unique voice while honoring yoga's history & traditions. I felt so prepared from their curriculum that I was able to start privates immediately and teaching my own group classes at LA gyms within a few months. I made great new friends, enhanced my practice, and have yoga in my life even more after the training. Thus, I am an happier person! If you love yoga, this is the next step of your journey and no one could be better guides than Kate & Claudia."

MEET KATE & CLAUDIA
Kate Duyn Cariati
Kate Duyn Cariati has taught in some of the most prominent yoga studios in New York City, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Prior to teaching yoga, Kate was a modern dancer but fell deeply in love with the practice at Laughing Lotus New York, where she completed her first teacher training. In 2007, Kate assisted in the opening of the Laughing Lotus San Francisco. There, she served as a mentor and has continued to be an integral part of the Laughing Lotus 200hr Teacher Training program.
Since relocating to Los Angeles she has taught the Prenatal Yoga module of James Brown’s YogaPoser Teacher Training, and led the Pure Yoga 200hr Teacher Training at Equinox with Claudia Fucigna. Kate currently teaches 13 classes per week, leads specialized workshops ranging from Arm-balancing/Inversions to Chakra Immersions, and hosts local and international retreats.
Kate is a teacher of teachers, a source of inspiration to those who want to share their passion for yoga. Her classes are known for their creative but intelligent sequencing, free flow acro-athleticism and soulfulness. Kate has a knack for guiding students to new depths while maintaining a sense of humor. She seamlessly weaves yoga philosophy, mantra, pranayama, meditation and movement through asana. Last but certainly not least, she is the proud mother of her baby boy, Vincent Henry.
“Her deep commitment to yoga radiates through her teaching but beware — it is quite contagious so you could find yourself falling in love with aspects of yoga you never even considered! Hindu mythology, the Chakras and the subtle body layers all come alive when Kate explains them.” Michele Miron | 2011 Teacher Trainee
